Sikar (Rajasthan) [India], June 8 (ANI): Newly elected CPI(M) MP from Sikar, Amra Ram said that he would oppose the government policies that are pro-big business and detrimental to the interest of the common people.
"I want to assure my voters in Sikar, that I will stand up to your expectations and take all your issues to the Parliament," Amra Ram told ANI.
He said that he would oppose the laws that are against the workers, farmers and the youth of the country.
"The agitation to oppose the policies that are against the common man and in favour of big businesses will continue," he said.
Amra Ram also supported the Central Industrial Security Force woman constable who allegedly slapped newly elected MP and actor Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport. He termed the alleged slap "befitting answer" to those who opposed the farmers' agitation.
"I would like to thank the brave soldier who gave a befitting answer to those opposing the farmers' agitation," he said.
