Chandigarh [India], July 15 (ANI): Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini here on Monday felicitated UPSC rank holders from Haryana and expressed confidence that they will bring glory to the state wherever they serve.
"First of all, I would like to congratulate all of you; you have brought glory to Haryana in the entire country. Many congratulations to you and your family," he said, addressing them.
He added, "The country has a lot of expectations from all of you. You are ready to give your services in different fields of the country. We are the people who come from strong Haryana. Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niraamayaah (May all be happy and free from illness) is in our culture and traditions. Therefore, I expect you to bring glory to Haryana wherever you serve."
The Haryana CM also spoke about the 'Viksit Bharat' and said, "Joining the civil service is an opportunity to serve in different parts of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make India a developed country by 2047. Your contribution to this pledge is expected and is also certain."

He added, "The vision of PM Modi is to make India a developed nation by 2047 and you all are the leaders of that developed nation. We have to make India the world's leading country. If anyone can give Swami Vivekananda's vision the form of a government, then it is your vision. I congratulate and wish you all the best."
Later, taking to his official X handle, Saini said, "I felicitated the talented youth of Haryana who cleared the UPSC exam conducted for the most prestigious civil service of the country. Every tenth soldier in the country is from Haryana and now Haryana's participation in civil services has also increased rapidly. I congratulate all the youth who have passed."
The Union Public Service Commission declared the result for the Civil Services Examination 2023 on April 16. Aditya Srivastava secured the first position, followed by Animesh Pradhan and Donuru Ananya Reddy.
The Civil Services Exam is conducted annually in three stages--preliminary, main, and interview--by the UPSC to select officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others. (ANI)
