Hyderabad student dies of heart attack in exam hall, probe initiated

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Mar 2 (ANI): A student died allegedly of a heart attack in an examination hall before his 12th board exam on Saturday.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Mar 2 (ANI): A student died allegedly of a heart attack in an examination hall before his 12th board exam on Saturday.
The 19-year-old had apparently complained of chest pain a few minutes before the exam but refused to go to the hospital and entered the examination hall. 
Chanchala Babu, Circle Inspector, Ramgopalpet police station said, "19-year-old Gopi Raju was going to write his exam when he complained of pain. His peers suggested him to go to the hospital but he refused. He went into the examination hall and collapsed at his bench, after which he was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead."
Doctors said Raju could have died of a heart attack.
The body has been sent to Gandhi hospital for post mortem, and a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered by the police.
Further investigation in the matter is underway. (ANI)
