Hyderabad: Six arrested for raising Jai Sri Ram slogans during Milad un Nabi procession

Hyderabad Police have registered a case and arrested six persons in connection with the incident of raising Jai Sri Ram slogans during the Milad un Nabi procession in Ziaguda on Sunday, said officials.

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 2 (ANI): Hyderabad Police have registered a case and arrested six persons in connection with the raising of Jai Sri Ram slogans during the Milad un Nabi procession in Ziaguda on Sunday, said officials. 
The video of the incident, in which some youths from different communities can be seen chanting slogans associated with their respective religions, went viral on social media.
After the incident, tension prevailed at Ziaguda under Kulsumpura police station limits on Sunday.
Kulsumpura police on Monday swung into action detaining six persons who were allegedly part of the group that raised the Jai Sri Ram slogans during the procession.
Meanwhile suspended BJP leader and Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh condemned the police for arresting the youths. (ANI)
