Hyderabad: Police seizes unaccounted cash worth more than Rs 3 cr

Hyderabad (Telangana) Apr 5 (ANI): Hyderabad Police seized unaccounted cash worth more than Rs. 3 crore, said Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police here on Friday.

Hyderabad (Telangana) Apr 5 (ANI): Hyderabad Police seized unaccounted cash worth more than Rs. 3 crore, said Anjani Kumar, Commissioner of Police here on Friday.
"Banjara Hills police seized Rs. 1 crore of unaccounted cash from Zahir Nagar area and also raided two other places and seized Rs. 3.80 crore near Divyashakti Complex," said Kumar.
The senior official further added that unaccounted cash with a total worth about Rs. 9.4 crore along with Rs. 9 lakh worth gold were seized this month.
"We have also seized 135 litres of alcohol and 40 kilograms of cannabis in this month," the police commissioner added.
All the accused have been arrested and a case has been registered under the relevant sections of the law. Further investigation in the matter is underway. (ANI)
