Hyderabad: Foreign currency worth Rs.28.5 lakh seized

Hyderabad (Telangana) Dec 06 (ANI): The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on Thursday recovered foreign currency worth Rs 28.5 lakh from a passenger at Hyderabad Airport.

Foreign currency worth Rs 28.5 lakh recovered  from Hyderabad Airport

Hyderabad (Telangana) Dec 06 (ANI): The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel on Thursday recovered foreign currency worth Rs 28.5 lakh from a passenger at Hyderabad Airport.
During security check, CISF constable Soma Das noticed some suspicious article in the hand baggage of the passenger Zinath Fidha Hussian, who was about to board Air Arabia flight destined to Sharjah in UAE.
During interrogation, Hussain could not provide any valid document for seized foreign currency.
The woman, along with the recovered money, were handed over to Custom officials for further action in the matter. (ANI)
