Hurriyat is Pakistan's stooge: Hashim Qureshi

New Delhi [India], September 20 (ANI): Slamming the Hurriyat for inciting people of Kashmir, M. Hashim Qureshi, Chairman of J-K Democratic Liberation Party on Wednesday called it "Pakistan's stooge."

Qureshi, who is in Geneva to attend 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly, said, "Hurriyat is Pakistan's stooge. Hurriyat is his 'master's voice'. Have they ever solved Kashmiris problem?"

Condemning the Hurriyat's duplicity, he said, "Sayeed Salahudeen's sons are all into government jobs, his daughters are teachers. Geelani's sons are well established and these separatists are provoking others to not take government jobs."

"Hurriyat itself has revealed in sting operation that they shut down schools and burn them (in Kashmir) for money while their own children are away studying. How can you expect such people to lead Kashmir?" he said.

Questioning the separatists, he said that young people are dying due to the separatists' propoganda and they are earning their livelihoods from the blood of innocent Kashmiris.

He urged the youth of Kashmir to not take any action driven by emotions.

Qureshi also added that Pakistan is under pressure right now from China and other Russia to end its terrorist activities and it can't ignore three big world powers.

A day ago, President Donald Trump, in his speech in UNGA, warned strong action against the countries that support or finance terrorist organisations.

Earlier also, Trump hit out at Pakistan for providing safe havens to "agents of chaos" and warned Islamabad that it has "much to lose" by harbouring terrorists. (ANI)
