Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 1 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu paid last respects to Chamba MLA Neeraj Nayyar's mother at the latter's residence in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district, an official statement said on Sunday.
CM Sukhu met the family members of Neeraj Nayyar and expressed his condolences.
"Late Chanchal Nayyar was a social woman. Her contribution to social service will always be remembered", the Himachal Pradesh CM said.
During the rituals, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi, MLA Yadvinder Goma, Sanjay Ratan, former Minister Asha Kumari, General Secretary State Congress Committee Dharam Singh Pathania, Amit Bharmauri, Executive District President Congress Committee Kamal Thakur, Deputy Commissioner Apoorva Devgan, Superintendent of Police Abhishek Yadav, Committee officials and prominent people of the area were present, the official statement added.
