Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Sukhu launches 'Him Samachar' App of IPR department

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday launched the 'Him Samachar' App, a pioneering initiative of the Himachal Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department.

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 17 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday launched the 'Him Samachar' App, a pioneering initiative of the Himachal Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department.
Chief Minister Sukhu said, "The state government has introduced numerous welfare schemes aimed at improving the lives of the people of the State. The Information and Public Relations Department plays a pivotal role in disseminating the policies and programs to the grassroots level."
He asked the department to further embrace modern technology to enhance the dissemination of the government's public welfare initiatives to the last man in the queue.
This innovative and user-friendly App will help provide easy access to information to the public about the policies and programmes of the State Government besides the departmental bulletins, video content, short reels and essential updates on the government's decisions offering a diverse range of content. Him Samachar App can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store or by scanning the QR code.
Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthi, MLA, Kewal Singh Pathania, Principal Advisor (Media) to Chief Minister, Naresh Chauhan, Director, Digital Technology and Governance, Mukesh Repaswal, Director Information and Public Relations, Rajiv Kumar and other dignitaries were present at the launch of the App. (ANI)
