Himachal CM Sukhu lays foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 102 cr in Kullu

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth over Rs 102 crores in Bhuntar of Kullu on Saturday.

Kullu (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 19 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes worth over Rs 102 crores in Bhuntar of Kullu on Saturday.

The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the double-lane Bhuntar bridge to be constructed at a cost of Rs 4.56 crore. He also inaugurated the transit accommodation with a parking floor including site development for regional hospital, Kullu at Tegubehad built at a cost of Rs 2.98 crore.
He also inaugurated the newly constructed OPD Block Integrated Rehabilitation Center for female addicts at Bhuntar constructed at a cost of Rs 24 lakh.
Under the State Disaster Mitigation Fund, CM Sukhu laid the foundation stone of flood protection works approved at a cost of Rs 3.63 crore near rafting centre in Tehsil Pridi of Kullu, embankment protection works approved at vulnerable places from Lower Shastrinagar to Badah Kullu and district Kullu at a cost of Rs 6 crore, protection works to be constructed at vulnerable points of Bhuntar from the lift irrigation scheme Seund Hathithan pump house to Saraswati Vidya Mandir Bhuntar colony along the left bank of Parvati river in Tehsil Bhuntar approved at a cost of Rs 7.97 crore and flood control works to be constructed at vulnerable points of Kullu MC area from Tibetan School at Gau Sadan at a cost of Rs 8.53 crore.
The Chief Minister, under the State Disaster Mitigation Fund, performed the Bhoomi Pujan of flood protection works near Bhuntar bridge, confluence point of Parbati River and Beas River in district Kullu worth Rs 8.14 crore, flood mitigation and embankment protection works to various vulnerable places (land, property, residences and commercial properties) near community building toward Tibetan School worth Rs 6.44 crore in MC Kullu, flood mitigation and embankment protection works in vulnerable areas (land, property, residences and commercial buildings) from Tibetan School to Hanumani Bagh in MC area of district Kullu worth Rs 6.65 crore, flood mitigation and embankment protection work in vulnerable areas (land, property, residences and commercial buildings) from Sangham Ghat toward Radha Krishna temple in MC Bhuntar, district Kullu worth Rs 6.14 crore and flood protection work on Parvati river in Manikaran Town of Bhuntar tehsil worth Rs 7 crore.

He laid the foundation stone for the augmentation work of water supply scheme for Bhuntar town to be constructed with Rs 22 crore under Amrit-2.0 scheme.

CM Sukhu also inaugurated a lift water supply scheme from Beas River to 16 Tanki, Shaldhara in Phatti Kharahal constructed at a cost of Rs 9.62 crore and Neoli-Tharmahan lift irrigation scheme with Rs 2.55 crore under Nabard in Tehsil and District Kullu. (ANI)
