Himachal CM releases 'Ek Refugee Scientist' autobiography

According to an official statement, CM Sukhu lauded Shingari's work and extended his best wishes for the success of the new publication. He expressed confidence that the book would serve as an inspiration for the younger generation, it added.

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], July 24 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday released the autobiography 'Ek Refugee Scientist,' penned by Dr MK Shingari who hails from Solan district.
According to an official statement, the chief minister lauded Shingari's work and extended his best wishes for the success of the new publication. He expressed confidence that the book would serve as an inspiration for the younger generation, it added.
This autobiography marks Shingari's fifth book, following his previous four publications.
Meanwhile, Captain Prithvi Chand, President Nadaun Congress Block, and Prem Chand, President Galore Congress Block, called on the chief minister at Shimla today.


In a post on X, CM Sukhu said, "During this, there was a detailed discussion on the public welfare schemes run by the government. Our government is continuously taking important decisions, keeping in mind the interests of the people of the state."
CM Sukhu, performed the 'Purnahuti' in the havan of the annual Bhandara, which was organised by the Himachal Pradesh secretariat employees and the Religious Sabha.
Prayers were made for the peace and prosperity of the state.
The CM commended the efforts of the Religious Sabha and said that such religious functions would go a long way in promoting collective harmony and well-being within the Secretariat community.
"All the officers and employees of the Secretariat are members of my family, and being the head of the family, I have come to participate in this function," said CM Sukhu.
Education Minister Rohit Thakur, MLA Neeraj Nayyar, Congress leader Surinder Mankotia, OSD to Chief Minister Ritesh Kapret, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, President of Secretariat Employees Association Sanjeev Sharma, office bearers of Sabha and other dignitaries were also present amongst others at the havan.
