Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 9 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Sunday paid a visit to Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) Shimla to inquire about the well-being of Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Awasthy's mother Amarlata Awasthy.
The Chief Minister also met Chaupal MLA Balbir Verma's mother Vidya Verma and inquired about her health. He wished for their speedy recovery.
Sukhu was accompanied by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Sunder Singh Thakur, Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Board Raghubir Singh Bali and other dignitaries.
"Today went to IGMC Shimla to inquire about the well-being of Mrs. Amarlata Awasthi, mother of Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Sanjay Awasthi and Mrs. Vidya Verma, mother of Chaupal MLA Mr. Balbir Verma. I pray to God for the speedy recovery of both the mothers," read a rough translation of the Chief Minister's post on 'X' after the visit. (ANI)
