Head of Police Jamwal visits Border areas in Eastern Ladakh; lauds security personnel for their high spirits 

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Head of Police Ladakh Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal visited the border areas in Eastern Ladakh and lauded the security personnel for their high spirits and commitment.

Leh (Ladakh) [India], August 29 (ANI): Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Head of Police Ladakh Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal visited the border areas in Eastern Ladakh and lauded the security personnel for their high spirits and commitment. 
Ladakh Head of Police was accompanied by Stanzin Nurboo-JKPS, Sonam Dechen-JKPS, SSP, AIG (Provision), Inspector T Dorjey and Inspector Mutuup Tashi of Police Headquarters Ladakh, visited forward areas of Galwan, Murgo, Burtse, Chhongthas and Daulat Beig Olde (DBO) in Eastern Ladakh on August 26th, and 27th 2023.
During the visit SD Singh Jamwal, interacted with ITBP and Army personnel deployed at these locations.
He lauded the security personnel for their high spirits and commitment to duties in these extremely tough conditions.

Jamwal also paid tributes to the martyrs and laid wreaths on memorials at Murgo, BDO and remembered the supreme sacrifice made by security personnel while defending our motherland.
The Ladakh Police team headed by ADGP Ladakh installed and placed Ashoka Stambh on behalf of Ladakh Police of UT Ladakh at Daulat Beig Olde (DBO) near DBO Advance Landing ground memorial and paid tribute to the martyrs along with ITBP personnel deployed at the DBO sector.
While interacting with the jawans at these posts, Jamwal enquired about their family and other welfare measures and assured them to take up any personnel problems pertaining to policing and other administrative issues back home with respective States/ UTs government authorities.

He also ensured them to take up various welfare issues and matters with concerned authorities at the proper platform for better welfare and facilities at the border posts so that they could perform duties more effectively at the border areas.
Meanwhile, Jamwal also visited Col Chewang Rinchen Setu located in eastern Ladakh. 
Earlier in 2019, Col Chewang Rinchen Setu was inaugurated by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh located in eastern Ladakh at nearly 45 km from the country's border with China. (ANI)
