New Delhi [India], August 24 (ANI): Training guns at Amit Shah for his remarks on the Congress-National Conference alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha on Saturday said that the Home Minister is "troubled" by the coalition.
"This same NC was in existence when there was NDA government and BJP was in alliance with PDP (People's Democratic Party). Some things are non-negotiable at the national level. You are troubled by the coalition," Jha told ANI.
Referring to the recent attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, Jha said, "Today our soldiers are being killed in Jammu. The localites are being killed in the valley. Look at the condition of the Union territory".
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday launched a scathing attack on the Congress party over its alliance with the National Conference (NC) for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, questioning its stance on key issues outlined in the NC's poll manifesto.

Taking to X, Shah said, "The Modi government ended years of discrimination against Dalits, tribes, Pahadis, and backward communities by granting them reservations after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A."

He questioned Rahul Gandhi if he supports the NC's manifesto, "which calls for abolishing reservations for Dalits, Gujjars, Bakerwals, and Pahadis."
"After allying with the National Conference, he should now clarify the Congress Party's stand on reservation policy," Shah further stated.
BJP leader Devendra Rana stressed that the BJP would not allow the alliance to win, alluding to the possibility that the party would form the government in the Union Territory.

"National Conference has released an election manifesto. A manifesto to consolidate anti-national forces," he told reporters at a press conference.
He added, "But, they have said that they will end the reservation in Jammu and Kashmir after coming to power. The reservation belongs to our Dalits, Gujjars, Paharis, and Other Backward Classes (OBC)."
On Thursday, Congress and the NC announced a pre-poll alliance and said that seat-sharing talks are currently underway. The pre-poll alliance was announced soon after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and party chief Mallikarjun Kharge met NC chief Farooq Abdullah.
After the meeting, Farooq said that the Congress-NC would fight for all 90 seats in the assembly polls.

The formal announcement of the tie-up was made by NC patron Farooq Abdullah in Srinagar. "United, we stand," JKNC posted on X. (ANI)
