Patna (Bihar) [India], January 25 (ANI): Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Sanjay Yadav on Sunday praised Tejashwi Yadav's appointment as party's National Working President, citing his 15-year experience as RJD's ordinary worker.
Speaking to reporters, Sanjay Yadav asserted that senior RJD leaders had entrusted Tejashwi Yadav with the responsibility of the national working president. The Rajya Sabha also mentioned that the Bihar LoP will carry forward Lalu Yadav's sacrifices, struggles, and ideology, and that the party's flag will fly across the entire country.
"Tejashwi Yadav is young. He has 15 years of political experience; he has worked in the organisation for 15 years as an ordinary worker. The senior leaders in our executive committee, who have come here from other states, have unanimously entrusted Tejashwi Yadav with the responsibility of national working president. Tejashwi Yadav has said that we will carry forward Lalu Yadav's sacrifices, struggles, and ideology, and we will hoist the RJD flag across the entire country," Sanjay Yadav said.
Meanwhile, RJD leader Misa Bharti termed the moment a matter of joy for the party and the people of Bihar, expressing belief that senior party leaders and workers would cooperate with Tejashwi Yadav.
"This is a matter of great joy for the party and for the people of Bihar that the RJD now has a working president... It is a huge responsibility. I believe all leaders will cooperate in advancing this responsibility. All workers will also cooperate in this," Misa Bharti said.
The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Sunday announced Tejashwi Yadav as the party's new national working president. The announcement was made during the RJD's national executive meeting held in Patna.
The meeting was attended by RJD Supremo and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, former CM Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Misa Bharti, and other senior party leaders. Following the announcement, the RJD officially confirmed the appointment on X, stating, "Dawn of a New Era!
