"Have resolved to double economy of Madhya Pradesh," says CM Mohan Yadav ahead of 7th Regional Industry Conclave

The seventh edition of Regional Industry Conclave is going to be held at University Institute of Technology (UIT) in Shahdol on Thursday, aiming to promote regional industries with cooperation and collaboration.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 16 (ANI): Ahead of participating in the seventh edition of Regional Industry Conclave, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi his government has resolved to double the economy of the state.
The seventh edition of Regional Industry Conclave is going to be held at University Institute of Technology (UIT) in Shahdol on Thursday, aiming to promote regional industries with cooperation and collaboration.
"I am happy that to improve our economy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking the country forward and under his leadership, we have also resolved to double the economy of the state. Today, I am going to attend the Regional Industry Conclave in Shahdol. It is a big meeting of industrial investment at the divisional level in which we have called all types of investors and are getting different types of new investment proposals. We are receiving investment proposals for all the sectors, be it tourism, health, mining, heavy industry, MSME etc," CM Yadav said.
Additionally, the bhoomi pujan and inauguration works under the investment MoU signed during the previously held Regional Industry Conclaves will be continued. Investment proposals of over Rs 4 lakh crores have been received in the six editions of conclaves held so far, the Chief Minister said, adding that over 3 lakh employment opportunities would be generated.
"We hope that in the coming times, Madhya Pradesh will create a different kind of identity, especially emerging strong economically. I extend my greeting to the people of the state. We are also preparing for the upcoming Global Investor Summit scheduled to be held in February and hope that it will break all records till now," he added.
According to an official release, around 4000 participants and over 2000 industrialists will participate in the seventh edition of the Regional Industry Conclave in Shahdol. Policy dialogues and innovations will be shared with industrialists and investors during the conclave. Additionally, CM Yadav will dedicate and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 28 industrial units on the occasion. During the conclave, the Chief Minister will hold one-to-one discussions with the leading industrialists of the country.
Notably, the Regional Industry Conclaves are being held in the state as a pre-event of the "Invest Madhya Pradesh-Global Investor Summit-2025".
The main objective of the GIS-2025 Summit is to establish Madhya Pradesh as a favourable investment destination and to include it among the leading states of the country by highlighting the capabilities, abundant resources and favourable industrial environment of the state.
The first edition of Regional Industry Conclave was organised in Ujjain in March last year. After that the second edition was held in Jabalpur on July 20, 2024 and then third edition in Gwalior on August 28, 2024 fourth edition in Sagar on September 27, 2024, fifth edition in Rewa on October 23, 2024 and sixth edition in Narmadapuram on December 7 last year.
