Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], September 30 (ANI): Coming forward in support of content creators at village Tulsi, a village housing around 1100 Youtubers, located on the outskirts of Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur, the district administration has established a studio equipped with modern equipment.

The YouTuber village, located around 45 kilometres from the state capital, houses large numbers of Youtubers of separate age groups and they are very active on social media platforms, Raipur Collector Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure said.
Several content creators of the village have a remarkable base of followers as well as views, added the Collector.

“After learning about the village’s uniqueness, we visited Tulsi and took stock of problems being faced by the creators in the absence of modern equipment and studio. As a move to resolve the problems being faced by creators and to motivate them, the district administration has established a studio ‘Hamar Flix’,” Collector Bhure said.

"The establishment of the studio is benefitting the YouTubers and simultaneously resolving the problems that were faced by the creators while editing and uploading the videos," the Collector said.

He further elaborated that the YouTubers at the village are not just creating entertaining videos, instead they are making educational as well as awareness videos.
On the lines of ‘Hamar Flix’, the administration is planning to establish similar studios in other villages in the district.
The studio at village Tulsi is equipped with necessary equipment, modern cameras, drone camera, computers, software (for editing and mixing) and others. The Collector also expressed the plan of expansion of this studio.

With the establishment of the studio, developed as a part of CSR activity, creators are now able to make good quality videos, said Tilda Janpad CEO Vivek Goswami, adding that this studio will be helpful in sharpening the skills of creators and motivating them.

People ranging from children to elderly persons are actively registering their participation in the content and some of them are earning well through the digital platform, said the officer.

The officer further elaborated that in future, the administration will be establishing a big building that will comprise facilities for the training of content creators as well as other facilities.
The administration will be developing a ‘Digital Skill Centre’ (through DMF) wherein the youths will learn about digital marketing, graphics design, SEO (search engine optimization) and others.

Notably, Jai Verma and his friend Gyanendra first started a YouTube channel in 2016 and started uploading comedy videos in the local dialect of Chhattisgarhi. Moreover, villagers also supported the duo in their journey and started registering their active participation in the videos as actors. Taking a cue from the success of the duo, other villagers also started their channel and people started supporting each other.

Expressing gratitude towards the administration for their support in establishing the studio ‘Hamar Flix’, Verma said that earlier, they had to face several problems in uploading videos as well as in the task of editing. Establishment of the studio is supporting 30-40 YouTubers in the village. (ANI)
