Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], January 9 (ANI): Rajasthan Industries and Commerce Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Tuesday said that Gujarat's model of industrialisation is an example for the country and that the Bharatiya Janata Party government would replicate it in the desert state.
"Gujarat's model of industrialisation, the way they attract investments, the way they promote business, is an example for the country," the Rajasthan minister, who is scheduled to attend the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, said here.
He said that it is fortunate of him that he is attending the Vibrant Gujarat Summit days after being sworn in as the Industries and Commerce Minister of Rajasthan.
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.
Rathore said that the Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma-led BJP government would also try to make Rajasthan an industrial state.
"We will try to replicate Gujarat's model in Rajasthan. The kind of development model that Prime Minister Modi started while he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat is historic and is yielding results. Now we will try to make Rajasthan also an industrial state," he told ANI.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show in Gandhinagar.

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was started in 2003 under the leadership of Modi when he was the state chief minister.
The tenth edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is being held from 10 to 12 January 2024 in Gandhinagar. Its theme is 'Gateway to the Future'. This Tenth Edition of the Summit will celebrate "20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success". (ANI)
