Gujarat CM to celebrate Diwali with beneficiary families of PM Awas Yojana in Gandhinagar

This year, CM Patel will celebrate Diwali with beneficiary families in Gandhinagar's Namonarayan Residency under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), joining them in their homes to share in the joy and festivities.

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], October 30 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has once again exemplified his compassionate and community-centred approach to celebrating Diwali. This year, he will celebrate Diwali with beneficiary families in Gandhinagar's Namonarayan Residency under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), joining them in their homes to share in the joy and festivities, an official release said on Wednesday.
As per the release, in February 2024, 1,208 houses under PMAY were inaugurated in Gandhinagar. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PMAY aims to provide homeownership to ordinary and middle-income families across India, allowing these families to come together in festive celebration in a warm community atmosphere.
The Chief Minister has taken a heartwarming initiative to celebrate Diwali with PMAY beneficiary families. On October 31st at 7 PM, the CM will visit 'Namo Narayan Residency', a PMAY colony in Sargasan, Gandhinagar, to personally greet families and extend his Diwali wishes. Inspired by the Chief Minister, other state cabinet ministers will also be celebrating Diwali with PMAY beneficiary families in other cities and villages across the state, the release added.
Minister Kanubhai Desai will celebrate Diwali with PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Bhagada Vada, Valsad. Minister Rushikesh Patel will join PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Rangpur, Mehsana, while Minister Raghavji Patel will be with PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Bedi, Jamnagar. Minister Balvantsinh Rajput will celebrate with PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Siddhpur, Patan.
Minister Kunwarji Bavaliya will meet PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Khakhriya, Kariyana, and Kuvargad in Babra Taluka, Amreli. Deputy Chief Whip Shri Kaushik Vekariya will celebrate with PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Nana Machiyala, Amreli Taluka. Minister Mulubhai Bera will join PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Sihan Kakbhai, Khambhalia Taluka, Devbhumi Dwarka, while Minister Kuber Dindor will meet PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Bakatwada, Santrampur Taluka, Mahisagar.
Minister Bhanuben Babariya will celebrate with PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Vavdi, Rajkot. Minister Harsh Sanghvi will join PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Palanpor, Surat, while Minister Mukesh Patel will be with PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Vankal, Surat. Minister Praful Pansheriya will celebrate with PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Nansad, Surat, and Minister Jagdish Vishwakarma will be with PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Bopal, Ahmedabad.
Minister Bachubhai Khabad will join PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Agasvani, Dhanpur Taluka, Dahod. Minister Bhikhusinh Parmar will celebrate with PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Davli, Modasa Taluka, Aravalli, while Minister Kunwarjibhai Halpati will be with PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Kamalchod, Valod Taluka, Tapi.
Chief Whip Balkrishna Shukla will join PMAY (Urban) beneficiaries in Sevasi, Vadodara, and Deputy Chief Whip Vijaybhai Patel will celebrate with PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Natkiya Hanvant, Subir Taluka, Dang. Deputy Chief Whip Ramansinh Solanki will meet PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Jol and Gana, Anand, and Deputy Chief Whip Jagdish Makwana will celebrate with PMAY (Rural) beneficiaries in Bhadiyad, Wadhwan Taluka, Surendranagar.
