Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conveys Diwali and New Year greetings to all citizens

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended Diwali and Vikram Samvat 2081 New Year greetings to the people of Gujarat and Gujarati families across the globe. In his message, he conveyed that Diwali's lights represent the journey from darkness to light, inspiring hope and positivity, Chief Minister's office said.

Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], October 30 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended Diwali and Vikram Samvat 2081 New Year greetings to the people of Gujarat and Gujarati families across the globe. In his message, he conveyed that Diwali's lights represent the journey from darkness to light, inspiring hope and positivity, Chief Minister's office said.
CM Bhupendra Patel said, "May Vikram Samvat 2081 bring growth and prosperity to all. May Diwali and the New Year mark a celebration of progress on Gujarat's path to global development. Together, let us pledge to build a Viksit Gujarat, aligning with the Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat@2047."
The Chief Minister stated that Gujarat is the first state to establish a roadmap for Viksit Gujarat@2047, in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for Viksit Bharat@2047, under the motto 'Earning Well, Living Well'.
The CM called upon Gujaratis to dedicate themselves to realizing the Prime Minister's vision of Viksit Bharat by contributing to the development of Viksit Gujarat in the coming year. Acknowledging the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Modi, he emphasized the importance of laying a sustainable foundation for global progress through united efforts.
The Chief Minister expressed his hope that Diwali would spark a renewed sense of optimism and wished for growth and prosperity in the New Year. Concluding his message, the Chief Minister encouraged everyone to come together with a shared commitment to further Gujarat's remarkable development journey.
Earlier on Tuesday, Under Swarnim Jayanti Mukyamantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana, the CM has granted in-principle approval to allocate Rs 1664 crore for 502 different development works in the cities of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, and Gandhinagar. Furthermore, the Chief Minister has given in-principle approval for the allocation of Rs 67.70 crore for the Underground Sewerage Scheme Part-II to the municipalities of Bhachau, Dhanera, Dakor, and KhedBrahma. The CM has also approved the proposals submitted by the State Urban Development and Urban Housing Department concerning these allocations.
CM Patel also granted in-principle approval to the Surat Municipal Corporation to allocate Rs 380 crore for the construction of 6 flyover bridges, designed to ease traffic in Surat City and alleviate the burden on roadways. The Chief Minister has sanctioned Rs 380 crore for 6 flyover bridge projects in Surat. (ANI)
