He shared his vision for the future, emphasizing key projects like the SpaDex experiment, the G1 rocket, and the PSLV mission. Drawing from his 41 years of experience, Narayanan expressed confidence in ISRO's ability to achieve even greater milestones, contributing to India's growth as a developed nation.
Speaking to ANI, the new chief of ISRO, V Narayanan said," This is a great responsibility bestowed by PM Narendra Modi. We are going to have an important experiment called PSLV... Would put in my 41 years of experience to take this organisation to much greater heights."
V Narayanan will assume office on January 14. He will succeed the current ISRO chairman, S Somanath.
According to an official order from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Narayanan has been appointed to serve in these roles for the next two years, until further notice.
