"Great inspiration for all": Rajasthan CM pays tribute to former VP Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on his death anniversary

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], May 15 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Thursday paid tribute to former Vice-President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on his death anniversary.
"Tributes to the former Vice President of the country, 'Rajasthan Gaurav', revered Bhairon Singh Shekhawat ji, an ideal model of dedication, morality and public service in Indian politics, on his death anniversary! The work done by him for the country's interest and public welfare, and his entire life filled with human values, are a great inspiration for all of us," Bhajanlal Sharma posted on X.
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari also paid tribute to the late former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat.
"Humble tribute on the death anniversary of former Vice President of the country and former Chief Minister of Veerbhoomi Rajasthan, Late Bhairon Singh Shekhawat ji," Diya Kumari posted on X.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will be on a one-day tour to Jaipur today and will inaugurate the Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Memorial Library on the occasion of the former Vice President's death anniversary in Jaipur.
The Vice President will be accompanied by his wife, Sudesh Dhankhar.
On the occasion of the 15th death anniversary of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat, Dhankhar will depart from Delhi to Jaipur by special aircraft to attend an event scheduled at Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium via helicopter, according to the Vice President's Secretariat.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore and other distinguished guests will also attend the event.
Bhairon Singh Shekhawat served as the 11th Vice-President of India, and ex-officio Chairman, Rajya Sabha from August 19, 2002, to July 21, 2007.
Shekhawat began his career in public life as a Member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly in 1952, and later served as Chief Minister of the state of Rajasthan for three terms. (ANI)
