"Govt to provide money for laptops to students": Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav

CM Yadav asserted that they have not allowed the basic structure of the government's schemes to be changed ever since they held charge of the office.

New Delhi [India], February 2 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday announced that his government would provide financial assistance to students in the state for purchasing laptops. He said the state government would also provide "scooties" to high secondary school students, who are included in the merit list.
CM Yadav asserted that they have not allowed the basic structure of the government's schemes to be changed ever since they held charge of the office.
"Ever since the Madhya government has taken charge, we have been continuously working for all the schemes for all sections. I am also satisfied that we have neither allowed the basic structure of any of our government's schemes to be changed nor have we given any relaxation in that regard. We are going to give the amount for laptops very soon to the students. We are also going to give scooties to students from high secondary schools which are included in the merit list," Yadav told ANI.
CM Yadav recently returned from a visit to Japan, where he expressed satisfaction over Japan's enthusiasm for the Buddhist Circuit. He highlighted how the people of Japan speak with great pride that Gautam Buddha came from India.
Speaking to ANI, CM Yadav said that he felt that people of Japan like people of India have the same love for hospitality. He also spoke about the farewell given to him by the hotel staff in Osaka.
On being asked about India-Japan ties, he said, "I am very satisfied and it is true that I felt that the people of Japan like people of India also have the same love for hospitality for their own country and people of other countries as well...They say with great pride that Mahatma Buddha came from India and we have adopted them. I am also satisfied that they show enthusiasm for Buddhist Circuit, tourism as well as engaging with India in the business. They are also looking at the interest of their companies."
He also spoke about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's views on having close trade ties with neighbours, especially with nations in the Asia-Pacific region. (ANI)
