Govt. only working for the benefits of the corporate: Prakash Karat

New Delhi (India), September 28 (ANI): Senior Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Prakash Karat on Thursday alleged that the government policies are only beneficial for the corporate and foreign investors.

"The present policies of the government focusing on privatization will only benefit the big corporate houses and foreign investors," told Prakash Karat to ANI.

On senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha's article surfacing around the internet, Prakash said that the situation is critical and it is affecting the lives of the people.

"The government policy of privatization will have a negative impact on already scarce employment rate in the country," he said.

Prakash Karat alleged that the Government has received funds from big businessmen and foreign business tycoons and the Government cannot focus on common people because of this.

"Everyone, except PM Modi and his government, knows that the economy is in a mess. People don't need to be experts in the economy and they know that no jobs are being produced and farmers are suffering, exports are not increasing and new investment is not coming in the economy," he added.(ANI)
