Govind Pansare murder: 2 accused sent to 7-day police custody

New Delhi [India], Dec 1 (ANI): The Kolhapur Sessions court on Saturday sent two accused in the Govind Pansare murder case to seven-day police custody.

New Delhi [India], Dec 1 (ANI): The Kolhapur Sessions court on Saturday sent two accused in the Govind Pansare murder case to seven-day police custody.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which is probing the case took both the accused, Vasudev Suryavanshi and Bharat Kurane into custody following the interrogation in Gauri Lankesh murder case and Nalasopara explosives case.
Pansare, a Communist Party of India leader, who was known for his rationalist views was shot dead in Kolhapur on February 20, 2015. His wife too was injured in the attack.
Both of them were accused of destroying weapon and vehicle used in the murder. (ANI)
