The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Department, Government of Karnataka, has expanded its partnership with the British Council to strengthen English language learning, library services, and knowledge access in rural areas through the state's Gram Panchayat Arivu Kendras (Knowledge Centres).

Former IPS officer RN Ravi takes oath as the Governor of West Bengal at a ceremony in Lok Bhawan on Thursday in Kolkata. Panic was created after Mumbai Vidhan Bhavan received a bomb threat via email, leading to searches and evacuations. Police, including the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) team, are present on the scene, officials said on Wednesday.
