Goa to appeal against Tarun Tejpal's acquittal in high court, says CM Sawant

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari on Thursday strongly criticised the central government following an assassination attempt on National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah at a wedding in Jammu, asserting that the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Government of India are directly responsible for lapses in security measures.

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Indian Navy jointly conducted four successful in-flight release trials of the indigenous Air Droppable Container 'ADC-150' from the P8I aircraft off the coast of Goa between February 21 to March 1, at different extreme release conditions.

"First, this government increases the prices of commercial and domestic LPG. The war has been going on nine or ten days and there is a gas shortage. Along with this, there is an instruction that domestic gas will not be booked before 25 days in cities. For this shortage, the Petroleum Ministry of the Government of India is entirely responsible," Tiwari told ANI outside Parliament.
