Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched the book "Govyatil Dharmantar: Katha Ani Vyatha" written by Ranga Hariji and translated by Sunetra Jog in the presence of Sanghchalak Rajendra Bhobe, Ramesh Pai, author Shefali Vaidya and others in Panaji on Tuesday.

Panaji (Goa) [India], August 21 (ANI): Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant launched the book Govyatil Dharmantar: Katha Ani Vyatha written by Ranga Hariji and translated by Sunetra Jog in the presence of Sanghchalak Rajendra Bhobe, Ramesh Pai, author Shefali Vaidya and others in Panaji on Tuesday.
The CM congratulated Bharatiya Vichar Sadhana Pune and Rashtriya Swadharma Sanskar Mandal for the book.

He stated that the book would bring the history of the oppressive rule of colonizers to light and reiterated that the Goa Government is committed to extending all support to highlight this history.
Taking to X he shared, "Launched book Govyatil Dharmantar: Katha Ani Vyatha written by Ranga Hariji and translated by Sunetra Jog in the presence of Sanghchalak Shri Rajendra Bhobe, Ramesh Pai, author Shefali Vaidya and others. I congratulate Bharatiya Vichar Sadhana Pune and Rashtriya Swadharma Sanskar Mandal for bringing this book. The book shall bring the history of oppressive rule of colonizers to light. Our Govt is committed to extend all the support to bring this history to light."
Earlier CM Sawant attended the Narali Pournima celebrations on Monday and launched the Matsya Vahini Matsya Ahar Fish Kiosks under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana organized by the Department of Fisheries in the presence of Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar, Fisheries Secretary E Vallavan and others.
The Chief Minister said that 10 'Matsya Vahini' environment-friendly e-rickshaws were distributed to enhance the transportation of fish from the landing site to the markets.
Additionally, he said that 25 'Matsya Ahar'-- a unique retail fish outlet has also been sanctioned for Goa. He also said that these initiatives would create employment opportunities for the Goan youth. (ANI)
