New Delhi [India], Jan 23 (ANI): Businessman Robert Vadra congratulated his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on her entry into mainstream politics.

New Delhi [India], Jan 23 (ANI): Businessman Robert Vadra congratulated his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on her entry into mainstream politics.
Vadra, who is married to Priyanka for over 20 years now, wrote a congratulatory post on Facebook and urged his wife to "give it her best."
"Congratulations P... always by your side in every phase of your life. Give it your best," wrote Vadra.
Meanwhile, senior Congress leader Motilal Vohra told ANI: "The responsibility given to Priyanka is very important. This will not only have an effect on eastern Uttar Pradesh but also other regions."
Priyanka was appointed as Congress' General Secretary for Eastern Uttar Pradesh region.
The region holds great political significance in the national discourse and key leaders represent many different constituencies of the region.
Parliamentary constituencies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi are all in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
The announcement of Priyanka an office bearer of AICC comes on a day when Rahul Gandhi is on tour to Raebareli and Amethi. (ANI)
