Four held under Goonda Act in Tamil Nadu

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India], Mar 12 (ANI): Four people have been arrested in connection with a sexual abuse case under the Goonda Act of Tamil Nadu, police said here on Tuesday.

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) [India], Mar 12 (ANI): Four people have been arrested in connection with a sexual abuse case under the Goonda Act of Tamil Nadu, police said here on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police, Rural, R Pandiarajan said: “In Pollachi of Coimbatore district, a case of sexual abuse was reported."
"Subsequently, four accused persons were arrested under Section 392, 354 (A), 354 (B) of the Indian Penal Code and 66A of Information Technology Act,” he said.
In Pollachi sex scandal, more than fifty women were lured and sexually harassed by a gang of four and the acts were video-graphed.
“Four accused persons have been identified as Sabarirajan, Sathish, Thirunavukarasu, and Vasankumar," Pandiarajan told ANI.
“Police have taken effective steps. During the initial investigation, all have been proved guilty of indulging in the sex racket," he said.
Director General of Police TK Rajendran said: “The case has been transferred to the Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID) for further investigation.” (ANI)
