Forest fire breaks out in Uttarakhand

A fire broke out at the old Transport Authority building in Sheikh Sarai Phase 2 area of Delhi on Wednesday night, gutting important documents stored in the record room, officials said.

The District Magistrate instructed that, in accordance with the guidelines of the Government of India, first priority in LPG distribution should be given to domestic consumers so that the general public does not face any inconvenience. He also directed that home delivery of domestic LPG cylinders should be ensured through an OTP-based system

The message threatening a bomb attack on the court was received in the Mandya district judge's mail. Police, bomb squad and fire brigade personnel reached the court immediately after receiving the information and are inspecting the matter.

In a video released by the Chief Minister's PRO, Sangma said he was at the NPP office in Tura and acknowledged the previous day's unrest, during which several locations, including the party office, were vandalised, attacked and set on fire by unidentified individuals. A delegation of the association met with Karnataka Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh on Wednesday amid the reported shortage of commercial LPG cylinders. The members requested that a portion of the supply be reallocated for commercial use to ensure kitchens across the city continue functioning smoothly.
