Five students killed in Pune-Bangalore NH accident

Five students killed in Pune-Bangalore NH accident

Nagaon Phata (Maharashtra) [India], Feb 19. (ANI): Five students were killed and 29 others were injured in a road mishap in Kolhapur district of western Maharashtra on Monday.

The accident took place when a truck carrying the students overturned after an unidentified vehicle dashed against it at Nagaon Phata on Pune-Bangalore National Highway on Monday.

The deceased are yet to be identified while the injured have been rushed to a local hospital for immediate treatment.

Police rushed to the spot on immediate information.

A case has been registered and further details are awaited. (ANI)
