"Fish farmers in Tripura are exceptional": State Minister Sudhangshu Das on World Fisheries Day

Agartala (Tripura) [India], November 21 (ANI): Tripura's Animal Resources Development Department (ARDD) Minister, Sudhangshu Das, attended a celebration program in Agartala, marking the significance of fisheries in the region on the occasion of fisheries-day">World Fisheries Day on Thursday and said that the fish farmers in the state are exceptional.
Speaking to ANI, the minister highlighted the importance of the day, noting that fisheries-day">World Fisheries Day is celebrated nationwide to honour the contributions of the fishing community. In Tripura, fish farmers from across the state, including progressive and innovative farmers, were invited to the event. They were acknowledged for their efforts and received heartfelt recognition for their contributions.
The event, held at the Agartala Pragya Bhavan, was attended by various dignitaries, relevant officers, and notable figures from the fisheries sector.
Das extended his greetings to the people of Tripura and beyond, expressing his appreciation for the hard work of the state's fish farmers.
