"Festival of lights brings happiness, prosperity in everyone's lives," Mallikarjun Kharge extends Diwali greetings

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday extended warm greetings to the people on Diwali and expressed hope that this unique festival of lights brings happiness, peace, and prosperity in everyone's lives.

New Delhi [India], November 12 (ANI): Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday extended warm greetings to the people on Diwali and expressed hope that the unique festival of lights brings happiness, peace, and prosperity in everyone's lives.
"I wish all the leaders and workers of the Congress Party a very happy Diwali. May this unique festival of lights bring happiness, peace, prosperity and prosperity in your life," Kharge posted on X.
He further hoped for love, brotherhood, harmony and harmony in the society.
"Our only wish is that there should be love, brotherhood, harmony and harmony in the society, we all should keep fighting against injustice, ignorance and discrimination and the lamp of happy hopes should keep burning," the Congress chief added.
Congress leader in his greeting to people on Diwali and said, "Greetings of Diwali to everyone. Let the darkness of lies, injustice and hatred disappear. May our India be illuminated with truth, justice and love."
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu also greeted people on Diwali and wished that the festival brings joy, prosperity and health to everyone's lives.
In a post on social media app X, the Prime Minister posted, "Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali! May this special festival bring joy, prosperity and wonderful health to everyone's lives."
President Murmu also greeted the people of the country on the occasion of Diwali and said that people of different religions and faiths celebrate this festival and spread the message of love, brotherhood and harmony.
'My heartiest wishes to everyone on the auspicious occasion of Diwali!" President Murmu posted on X (formerly Twitter).
"Deepawali is a festival of joy and happiness. It is celebrated to mark the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and justice over injustice. People of different religions and faiths celebrate this festival and spread the message of love, brotherhood and harmony," President Murmu said in the letter posted on X.
She further said that one lamp can light up many others.
The President asked everyone to celebrate the festival of lights safely and take a pledge for nation-building by contributing to the conservation of the environment.
Diwali is observed on Amavasya (or the new moon), the 15th day of the month of Kartik, every year. This year, Diwali will be celebrated on November 12. (ANI)
