Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Mar 13 (ANI): The FEOA (Fugitive Economic Offenders Act) special court in Mumbai on Wednesday adjourned hearing on confiscation of Vijay Mallya's properties for April 08.
This comes days after fugitive liquor baron Vijay Mallya questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not instructing Indian banks to take the money he has "offered" to pay off the public funds lent to defunct Kingfisher Airlines.
The statement from Mallya came after Modi in his last speech in Parliament on Wednesday referred to an unnamed person who "ran away" with Rs 9,000 crore.
The beleaguered liquor baron claimed that he has made the offer to settle the matter before the High Court of Karnataka. (ANI)
