Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 22 (ANI): The father of Anil Shukla choked up remembering his son who was killed in the recent Ganderbal attacks. Shukla was a mechanical engineer who had moved to Kashmir through the reference of a friend who was the manager of the same company. A few days before his death, Shukla had told his father that he would visit them in January next year.

While talking to ANI, Shukla's father said that his son used to call them every morning at 8:00 AM but failed to call them up and there was no response from his side, as well, after Shukla's parents reached out to him. They were informed later that their son had been killed in a terrorist attack.

"Father of Anil Shukla, who died in the Ganderbal terror attack, choked up, says, "He was a mechanical engineer there...He last came to meet us in July...He was earlier working in the Doda district and later joined in Ganderbal...He used to call us every morning at 8 am, but when he did not call we pinged him, and there was no reply... later we were informed that he had been killed in the terror attack," Shukla's father said.

Earlier, the mortal remains of Shashi Bhushan Abrol reached his hometown in Jammu. He was also killed in the Ganderbal violence that has raised concerns for the security of civilians working in the Kashmir valley. Locals visited Abrol's home to pay their homage as his family members grieved.

Terrorists on late Sunday evening gunned down a doctor and six other non-local workers after attacking a construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway in the Gagangir village of the Ganderbal district. They struck as the workers and other staff returned to their camp. The incident has raised serious concerns over the security of people in the valley.

Meanwhile, the Counter-Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Tuesday morning carried out a major operation in six districts of the valley and caught the recruiters linked to a terror outfit. The counterintelligence unit informed that the raids were conducted in districts including Srinagar, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Anantnag, Budgam, and Kulgam.

The officials said that they were able to dismantle a recruitment module of the newly formed terrorist organisation called "Tehreek Labaik Ya Muslim" (TLM), which is said to be an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) that was being operated by a Pakistani terrorist handler known as Baba Hamas.
