"Agriculture and farmer welfare are the highest priority for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. For us, serving farmers is like worshipping God. Farmers of Madhya Pradesh were worried in the past few days as soybean was being sold below MSP," Chouhan told reporters.
"First, we permitted states like Maharashtra and Karnataka for procurement of soybean at MSP. We received a proposal for procurement of soybean at MSP from the Madhya Pradesh Government last night. We have approved that proposal. Farmers of Madhya Pradesh need not to worry, soybean will be procured at MSP.
