Farmer dies after falling off building in Delhi

New Delhi (India), December 1 (ANI): A 52-year-old farmer from Maharashtra who came to Delhi for farmers' protest rally died after allegedly falling off the third floor of Ambedkar Bhawan in Paharganj area on Saturday.

New Delhi (India), December 1 (ANI): A 52-year-old farmer from Maharashtra who came to Delhi for farmers' protest rally died after allegedly falling off the third floor of Ambedkar Bhawan in Paharganj area on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Karan Santa, a resident of Garhwali village in Kolhapur.
According to the police, Karan allegedly fell off the building while sleeping. "The deceased had come along with his fellow villagers to participate in farmers rally and was staying in room number 29 on the third floor at Ambedkar Bhawan. Prima-facie it appears to be an accident as he fell off the building while sleeping. No foul play is suspected," said a senior police official.
The deceased would be taken to his hometown after the completion of legal formalities.(ANI)
