Family of 5 sisters meet with their brother who went missing over 17 years ago ahead of Raksha Bandhan in MP’s Mandsaur

Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 30 (ANI): Happiness prevailed in a family of five sisters after they met with their brother, who went missing over 17 years ago, ahead of Raksha Bandhan in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur district. 
The man Pankaj Suryavanshi (now 32 years old), a resident Bahi Parasnath village in the district, went missing from his house on November 7, 2005. Pankaj is the third child among the siblings in the family. 
According to the family members, Pankaj had gone for hair cutting by carrying Rs 5 with him and did not return. The family searched for him but he was not found anywhere. After that a missing complaint was registered at Pipariya mandi police station in the district. 
YD (Yashodharman) nagar Police Station in Charge Dharmendra Yadav said, “A 15-year-old boy Pankaj Suryavanshi (now 32) had gone missing from his house on November 7, 2005. Recently on August 28, we found him (Pankaj) and inquired about him. It was a little difficult to inquire about him as he is a little deranged, he has hearing and speaking problems.”
“But we managed to find out information about him and he was the only brother among five sisters. We have handed him over to the family. Nonetheless, the family later had another boy who is eight years old now,” Yadav said.  
It was quite an old case, many officials were changed but the police investigated the details about him in the old records and with the help of various police stations in the state. He was searched and handed over to the family. The family is quite happy now, Yadav further said.  
Pankaj’s mother, Prem Bai told ANI, “Around 17 years ago, Pankaj left home with Rs 5 for hair cutting and did not come back. We searched for him but did not find him. After that we lodged a missing complaint at Pipariya Mandi police station. We are very happy that my son is back with me. On the occasion of Rakhi, the sisters got her lost brother and the parents got their child.”
Pankaj’s elder sister Pooja told ANI that she was very happy that she got her lost brother. 
“We never celebrated the Rakhi festival after Pankaj went missing. We were only five sisters later our another younger brother (who is currently eight years old) was born and then we celebrated the festival. I am very happy that I got my lost brother,” she added. (ANI)
