Every individual in MP either victim or witness to corruption: former CM Kamal Nath

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 24 (ANI): Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Chief Kamal Nath on Thursday said that every person in Madhya Pradesh is either a victim or witness to corruption.
Nath made the remark while addressing a Congress Seva Dal program held at Manas Bhawan in the state capital Bhopal.
“Our competition is not with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but with the organisation of the Bharatiya Janata Party, with their police, money and their administration. This is the strategy you (workers) have to make,” Nath said.
There has been a lot of change in today’s politics. It has become very local. Today no traditional village or booth belongs to the Congress or the BJP. Today father, son, brother, nephew, uncle all vote separately. This is the change today that politics has become very local, the former CM said.
He added, “The upcoming elections slated later this year is not only of one candidate or the one party, it is about the future of Madhya Pradesh. Don't see the candidate that this is our candidate, see the future of Madhya Pradesh. With this we will be able to safeguard the future of Madhya Pradesh.”
“The situation of the state is in front of everyone. You (Seva Dal workers) have to open the eyes and ears of those whose eyes and ears are closed. Every section is in trouble, our youth are wandering, farmers, small businessmen. There is no limit to corruption in the state it has created such a system. Every person of Madhya Pradesh is either a victim of corruption or a witness of corruption,” the Congress leader said.
He added that the workers had to bring these things to the notice of the public. They had to create a local strategy everywhere in the state. (ANI)
