New Delhi [India], May 14 (ANI): Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday approached the Delhi High Court challenging the bail given to lawyer-cum-businessman Gautam Khaitan by the trial court in April.
The High Court will hear the plea filed by the ED on Wednesday.
On April 16, a special CBI court had granted bail to Khaitan in a money laundering case.
On March 25, the ED had filed a 1500-page charge sheet (prosecution complaint) against Khaitan. In the charge sheet, the ED alleged that Khaitan deposited a huge amount of money in offshore accounts.
He has also been accused of holding bank accounts abroad and having

The document was filed in connection with a fresh case lodged against Khaitan on the complaint of the Income Tax (I-T) Department under the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015. (ANI)
