EC approves Devendra Fadnavis' nomination paper

Newly appointed Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday took the oath of office in the presence of Delhi High Court Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya.

Janshakti Janata Dal chief Tej Pratap Yadav on Monday took a jibe at the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar saying that he must be willing to be ousted thats why he is leaving.

In a detailed letter, addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC); and the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of West Bengal, the party said the revision exercise had been marked by procedural violations, technical failures, and arbitrary decisions that threaten the integrity of the electoral process.
