Andaman Islands [India], October 10 (ANI): An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hit the Andaman Islands in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The tremor occurred at 1:03 a.m. in the Andaman Islands Region, confirmed K. S. Dhatwalia

, DG PIB.

No loss of life, injury or damage to property has been reported so far.

Further details are awaited.

Earlier on October 6, an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 had hit the Andaman Sea.

On October 3, an earthquake of mild intensity - of magnitude 4.5, yellow stage - hit the Andaman Islands. (ANI)
