EAM Swaraj to hold informal meeting with SAARC Foreign Ministers

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan addressed the Study in India Edu-Diplomatic Conclave 2026 organized by the Ministry of Education at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan, New Delhi on Monday bringing together Ambassadors, High Commissioners, representatives of diplomatic missions from over 50 countries and officials of the Ministry, to deliberate on strengthening international cooperation in higher education.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday unveiled a 21-foot-tall statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji at Sector 21 in Gandhinagar.

In an advisory posted on X, the Ministry urged delegates attending the summit at Bharat Mandapam and Sushma Swaraj Bhawan to use public transport due to limited parking availability and revised gate access arrangements.

"A matured Leader of Opposition can be very useful in smooth functioning of the house and in enriching parliamentary democracy," Rijiju posted on X.

In a post shared on X, Shah said, "Sushma Swaraj ji, who made public welfare--from the organization to the government--the mission of her life, was known for her fearless stance on matters of national interest. Her work on the nation, culture, language, foreign policy, and women's empowerment will continue to inspire the countrymen for decades. I pay my respects to Sushma ji on her birth anniversary."
