New Delhi [India], October 24 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora, along with senior special commissioners of police, took stock of security arrangements at Red Fort grounds in view of Dussehra festivities.
Dussehra celebrations are all set to take place with pomp and show in the National Capital today.

Effigies of Ravan, Meghanad and Kumbhkaran have been installed in Delhi's famous Red Fort ground.
Talking about the security arrangements at Ram Leela shows at Red Fort grounds, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North Manoj Kumar Meena said that anti-terrorist measures have also been taken in the wake of the festivities.
"Security, law & order and traffic arrangements were made at all three Ram Leela shows with the presence of 1500 police personnel in the area. Anti-terrorist measures have also been taken. For the visit of VVIPs, security measures were taken. Crowd control measures taken keeping in mind Ravan Dahan today. Entry of people will be stopped as it reaches maximum capacity. Carrying of bags inside the Ram Leela shows is not allowed," Manoj Kumar Meena told ANI.
The Red Fort ground of the national capital is famous for its grand Dussehra celebration, organised with great pomp and show.
The 'Vijyaya Dashmi' or 'Dussehra', is celebrated to mark the triumph of good over evil.
It is believed that Lord Rama had killed Ravan on this day, and with this belief, the culture of burning the effigies of Ravan began.
The 'Vijaya Dashmi' also marks the culmination of the nine-day-long Navratri festival.
It is observed on the tenth day of the month of Ashvin, the seventh in the Hindu Luni-Solar Calendar. The festival typically falls in the Gregorian calendar months of September and October.
The festival also starts the preparations for Diwali, which is celebrated twenty days after Vijayadashami.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings to the people on the occasion of 'Vijaya Dashmi'.
"Best wishes to my family members across the country on Vijaya Dashmi. This holy festival brings the message of ending negative forces as well as adopting goodness in life. Wishing you all a Happy Vijaya Dashmi!" PM Modi wrote on 'X'. (ANI)
