It is unfortunate that the Modi government remains as negligent and insensitive as ever regarding this potential national crisis. The central government's inability to assess the situation in time is a clear case of 'collective failure'," Gelhot wrote in a post on X.

The Delhi government has clarified that the supply of LPG, petrol, diesel and PNG in the national capital remains completely normal and there is no shortage of any fuel. The government has appealed to residents not to pay attention to rumours being circulated about gas supply and to avoid unnecessary panic or hoarding, Chief Minister office said on Wednesday.

According to the Chief Minister's Office, the meeting was called to review the rumours regarding the disruption in the Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) supply and asserted that adequate stock is available in the national capital.
