Domestic help accuses residential complex's former manager of assault

New Delhi [India], October 8 (ANI): A domestic help has accused a former manager of a residential complex in New Delhi's Lodhi Estate of sexual assault.

The incident reportedly took place two years back.

The woman, in her complaint, has said that the then manager of the complex assaulted her four times in September 2015.

The woman, who is a native of Telangana, further claimed that the suspect, Subhash, had also threatened her. According to her complaint, she had worked as a domestic help for 14 years at the complex.

According to the victim, she wanted to sell her ancestral property worth Rs. 25 lakh and the suspect assured him all help. The brother of the suspect went to the native village of the victim and took the thumb impression of her mother on the sale agreement.

The suspect never gave back the promised Rs. 25 lakh as promised.

The victim said that when she confronted, the accused threatened her and sexually assaulted her four times in September 2015. (ANI)
