Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], October 28 (ANI): Diwali preparations in Hyderabad is in full swing, markets are overflowing with vibrant decor, rangoli colours, and traditional lamps.
As the 'Festival of Lights' approaches, Hyderabad's markets continue to thrive, with festive stalls attracting people from all walks of life, united in their desire to honor tradition and celebrate joyfully.
Laxman, a seller said, "We set up stall for Diwali since many years. We have many designs of diyas made from mud. We also have akasha deepam, tulasi deepam, talli and also water diya. We also have floating candles and floating diyas, rangoli colours and others. The sale is going good. Many customers are asking for coloured diyas. We have more than 400 designs of diyas. Compared to last year, the people want better quality. We have products from Maharashtra, Kolkata, Gujarat and other places too. We have diya starting from Rs 2."
Neelani, a customer said, "I celebrate Diwali with diya made of mud over others. This is the best. I feel the rates are little higher, however, they have a lot of designs so we are purchasing from here. It's Diwali so lets celebrate."
Another customer, Eshwari who prefers mud diyas said, "The mud diyas give an authentic feel to the celebration. It is eco-friendly. It is also good to worship the Goddess with these diyas."

Diwali 2024 will be celebrated on October 31st, marking one of the most significant festivals in India and around the world. This vibrant festival, known as the Festival of Lights, signifies the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. As families prepare for the festivities, homes will be adorned with colorful rangoli patterns, illuminated with diyas and fairy lights.

The celebrations typically involve performing prayers to Goddess Lakshmi for prosperity, sharing delicious sweets and snacks, and exchanging gifts with loved ones. Fireworks will light up the night sky, creating a dazzling display that adds to the joyful atmosphere. Diwali 2024 promises to be a time of togetherness, reflection, and celebration, fostering a spirit of unity and hope for the year ahead. (ANI)
