"Discussed on how to take 'Delhi Model' to grassroots": AAP state chief Aman Arora after meeting Arvind Kejriwal

On the meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor with Punjab MLAs, AAP state President Aman Arora said that discussions were held on how to the Delhi's model to the grassroots.

New Delhi [India], February 11 (ANI): On the meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor with Punjab MLAs, AAP state President Aman Arora said that discussions were held on how to take the 'Delhi Model' to the grassroots in Punjab.
"We have replicated the Delhi Model in Punjab. We discussed how we can take our model to the grassroots,00" he said speaking to ANI.
He further stated that these meetings were held every six to eight months.
"Many leaders of Punjab worked very hard for elections in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal thanked us for that. Arvind Kejriwal calls us all from Punjab every 6-8 months and holds a meeting..." Arora said speaking to ANI.
AAP MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer exuded confidence that the day Congress made it clear that their leader and Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Pratap Singh Bajwa would not become the new Delhi CM, he would join BJP just like his brother.
"I can give you in writing that the day Congress will make it clear that Pratap Singh Bajwa will not be the CM candidate, that day itself he is going to join BJP just like his brother..." Hayer said speaking to ANI.
Speaking on the meeting with Kejriwal, he said that it was a routine process.
"Everything is fine. We had meetings with our MLAs and ministers earlier as well. This is a routine process. Every party calls their leaders and holds such meetings..." he further said.
Punjab Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that discussions were made in the meeting on how to speed up work in the state in the next two years.
"After the Delhi elections, the Punjab unit of AAP came to Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal thanked everyone. There was a discussion on how to speed up the work in Punjab in the coming 2 years... We will do more work and AAP will expand across the country ..." Cheema said speaking to ANI.
The BJP won the Delhi assembly election by a comfortable margin, winning 48 out of 70 assembly seats.
AAP suffered a massive setback, securing only 22 seats--a huge drop from its previous tally of 62 in 2020 polls. With this historic mandate, BJP is returning to power in the national capital after 27 years. (ANI)
