Development is our 'USP': BJP

New Delhi [India], Feb. 13 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that development is its USP.

On being asked as whether the government will contest the election on development agenda or on issues like cow protection and mandir-masjid, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain while addressing the Asian News International's (ANI) India Infracon 2018 here said it was the Opposition that raked such issues.

"We don't rake up such issues. We only respond to the people who raise such issues. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi had won the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, then also we fought the election on development agenda. This time also we will follow the same. Development is our USP," Hussain said.

Echoing similar views, BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi also hit out at the Opposition and said, "Has the Opposition party ever said that they will give better development work, governance, or transparent government than BJP? They have always said that all the secular forces should come together to counter the communal forces (BJP). Our aim is development," Trivedi added.(ANI)
